Pineapple Kesari is a classic sweet dish prepared with rava and pineapple.


Pineapple chopped - 1 cup

Rava (Sooji) - 1 cup

Sugar - 1 and a half cup

Cashew & dry grapes (raisins) - few

ghee - 6 Tbspn

Saffron little

cardamom powder little


Mix 1 tbs sugar with chopped Pineapple and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Heat the pan with 2 spoons of ghee and fry the cashews, then add the raisins. Transfer the fried cashew and raisins to a plate. Now add the pineapple in the same pan .Mix it well and then add the Rava (Sooji) and fry it in low flame. On another side heat 3 cups of water. Once the water turns hot add it to the frying rava. Then mix it well and allow it to cook for 4 to 5 mins, closing the lid.

Once the rava is cooked well add the fried cashews and raisins. add 2 pinch of saffron. Mix it well and later add 2 pinch cardamom powder and ghee Mix it well, now the Pineapple Rava Kesari is ready.
