Masala Channa

Special masala Channa ..Goes along with variety rice ,plain rice and also taken as Snacks


Channa - 250 gm

Onion -1

Oil, salt, turmeric powder,curry, coriander,mint leaves, bay leaf

To grind

Coconut -1 tbs: ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp : green chilly -3 : chilly powder -1 tsp : coriander powder -1 tsp : gharam masala powder -1/2 tsp : Mint, coriander leaves


Soak Channa over night ,cook along little turmeric powder and salt for 3 whisle

In 3 tsp of oil fry bay leaf,add Curry leaves, Mint leaves, Onion and fry for 2 minutes,Add grinded masala paste, little water and cook in low flame for 3 minutes

Add cooked Channa ,along cooked water,mix well ,add little water and cook for 5 minutes .Add Coriander leaves
